The Empishin needle was invented in China a few decades ago. It is mostly use to supplement the general treatment by providing symptom relief. Originally was used at auricles, however can be also use at he body points as well.
Empishin are constructed of a single strand of wire, wrapped to the correct shape. It is thought that the empishin needles can be useful for condition that are chronic and stubborn because they give a mild and continous stimulation to the point. The Empishin tends to be used more for pain, I used to give it at the end of the theraphy as a present to the patient and take it home.
